it's kind of hard to tell from the pictures, but it has some of the same markings as a blue acara or green terror. Does it have colored edges on it's dorsal and/or tail fin? Can you get a more close up picture of it?

It looks African to me. Possibly some kind of Haplochromis. Need better pics to be sure. Personally I have never heard of a Blue Terror, just greens and reds.

Yeah its very hard to tell but i first thought african. Just the shape and coloration... but which one i have no idea.

Could be a SA/CA or african hybrid.

Can you get better pics? With more light?

The more i look at it the more Green Terror i see in it... but it really has striking blue coloration.

I'm really out on a limb with SA/CA cichlids though.

it does resemble the green terror quite a bit. my guess is that its a hybrid between a green terror and something else but im not sure what.
