yeah well at very first i thought it was a silver dollar but after like 3 days of reserarch i was convinced it was a black skirt tetra. its very very light but the skirt is a darker color.
and in between those 2 conclusions we wnet from everything from dimond tetra to all kinds of crazy stuff
well if it is a black skirt then its beat out the size chart for everywhere that has a profile on them
most say 2 inches and hes just short of 3 (or maybe its the glass ive not taken him out to look)
i was afraid i was oing to have to get rid of him if he was a silver dollar cause i dont have a tank that can support that size. but i got to thinking when i noticed the other fish in the tank i adopted were thier adult size and it was an old tank , if it was a silver dollar it would have had to have been much bigger. so that spawned a bunch of reasearch for me.
ill definatly be able to keep him if hes a black skirt. im hoping to get a 55 gallon in may or sooner if tax returns are kind to me.
right now hes in my 10g
