I've had two male Guppies for around 6 weeks and today one of them seems to be acting strange since what I think was a fight in between them, the less "pretty" Guppy has gone to a corner of the tank and has stayed imobile up to now. Does anyone know what has happened and whether or not the imobile Guppy is ok (he's stayed still for around an hour now!)?

Here's a picture of him:

Thanks

My male guppies have had little spats but nothing major. They occasionally fight over the females. They've never injured one another. Just from your picture, though, your guppy looks like he is accepting defeat. Almost like he has lost a territory and wants an escape. Do you have another tank you could move him to? Perhaps he's been injured as well.

i had a guppy like that (check his chest for signs of swelling) i moved him tried peas like everyone says but lost him to dropsy

note i had 2 other guppies in the tank with him and i thought they wew all sick but its so sad they would go keep him company at the top all day. after i moved him out they all swam around the tank like normal guppies. they were new rescues from a walmart tank and they were really good finds. like i found a snakeskin today (hope he lives) and a beutifull yellow and black female (hope she lives and gets pregnant, lol)

im planting a tank soon and when they have babies im moving them in there (notice i didnt say if:: ps i mean im moving the babies not the adults)

I once had a guppy like that about half a year ago who sat immobile and he died shortly after.

After What I think is around 4 hours, he is still breathing and STILL is imobile! Whenever the other Guppy arrives, he swims away and stays still again... So you guys think he's about to kick the bucket? :(

P.S. What's dropsy?
