I have several small aquarims with fish like guppies bettas corries what do u all think bout bambo I have bananna plants does bambo do a whole lot for a small aquarium is it a good investment what do yall think? Is there any negatives?

well bamboo is really cool

and it helps just as much as normal plants

but it is not fully aquatic so if it is put into the tank to deep it will die

you can only really put it into a shallow paludarium or something like that where the roots are submerged but the plant grows out

Bamboo is not aquatic. It is OK to keep the bottom part sumerged, but the top part must be above water or it will rot.

yep rot. and you wont notice the rot until it's too late.
i've seen some pretty neat bamboo betta tanks with the stems coming out of the water well above the tank rim.

just letting you know VAboy, it's called Dreacena not bamboo, stick that thing in some soil and you'll have a nice huge house plant in no time!

k thanks guys and 10-4 i get cha and i did not know tha rot think so um thanks alotttttttttttttttttttttttt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
