whats with my gouramis?

hopefully the lfs will give me some good credits. It sounds like im gettin rid of 3 gouramis= $18 and a platty= $2.50. Total= $20.50 what do you think i should replace them with, there is 1 common pleco, 1 senegal bichir, 1 gourami? Maybe a butterfly pleco and a.................hmm idk.
