Whats wrong...dead...angel wont eat?

ph shouldnt have anyhting to do with it as most fish can adapt if you accliamte them to it, also with your stocking your ammonia would rise super fast, and plecos for one are giant poop machines so that may be a reason why.
So now my best advice is do multipe PWC's a day too keep the ammonia low and i would advise against getting any fish untill you are cycled.

so .25 of ammonia can kill fish, ithought it was bad but not that bad?

Depends on the fish. Some can survive, others can't take it at all. It puts a lot of stress on fish along with physical damage.

What jpappy said, however also nitrites will also harm and stress out fish, and when fish are exposed to stress, like us their immune systems are weakened, leaving them vulnerable to disease, and hte like leading to death

Thanks...so what test kit do you recommend me getting to test my water?...and I was thinking about taking back my catfish and my pleco...leaving me with only one male guppy, 1 snail, and 1 glass catfish. I was wondering After I take them back and get my tank fully cycled and good to go (which I should have before all of this but i was like anybody else and got into a rush :( ) if a 10gal could hold 3 glass catfish 1male guppy and 2 female guppies with out over stocking?

THANKS FOR ALL THE HELP GUYS AND GIRLS...I HOPE IM NOT BOTHERING YALL TO BAD, ITS JUST YALL KNOW WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT AND I DONT!!!!
