whats wrong with a regular ol' rectangular aquarium??? lol

I agree with everybody else, I think 1 gallon should be the absolute minimum, and even then, I would only put a few shrimp it. Its said that Bettas and goldfish don't die easily, so people assume they are doing a good job.

I have seen those things at PetSmart / Petco. I dont like them either. And I say there is NOTHING wrong with the regular (now apparently old fasioned) glass, retangular tanks. I actually PREFER them!
 
you know you all are forgetting that back in the 70's some people put their fish in the soles of their platform shoes now you tell me that those things were ever over a gallon
