What's your favorite moss?

This is the second time I am plugging aquabotanic today. I got flame moss and subwassertang from aquabotanicstore.com The subwassertang is the wierdest thing I have ever seen, and I love it

I really appreciate everyone's input.

I decided to try some mini pellia. My tank temp might be a little bit of a problem (80 degrees) but it will be in interesting experiment.

I have some subwassertang. I agree it's really strange. It doesn't look like a real plant. It's kind of like strange plastic shavings or flakes. Mine isn't growing much. It's not dying but not doing much at all for 2 months now. I may need to move it or attach it to something else.

My christmas moss (my favority so far) is doing so well, that I will be able to divide it soon and add some to another tank.

All of this moss is in my shrimp tank-- a 28 gal. bowfront. Low light (appx. 1WPG)

I'm curious about a couple others that were mentioned here. I may give them a try in my larger planted tank 2.2wpg, co2...

Thanks again. By all means, keep posting if you want. This is fun!

Moss

I saw this one guy who had a truly aquatic moss which looked just like the star moss; it was growing wonderfully and looked stellar. He actually picked up the moss last time he was in Veitnam; I lost the link to his page before I could try to beg a small piece or two.;(

I rather dislike the common mosses....looking for some more rare and exotic, but no luck yet. I feel your pain.
