What's your favorite "REEF SAFE" fish?

I've been wanting a hawkfish too.... and same thing... im worried about my cleaner shrimp too... n i want to get some peppermint shrimp soon... i was thinking my cleaner might be to big for one to eat??

That is what I "think" as well... but thinking it and wanting to risk it are 2 different things. I think a cleaner would be too big.. but peppermints would be fair game to a hawk.. but I don't want to just toss $20-$30 for a cleaner shrimp into in order to find out. Plus the tank I have with the hawk, I need peppermints in it for aiptasia anemones, not a cleaner.

My hawkfish didn't need to fit shrimp, he just ripped them apart. So yeah, not really shrimp safe lol. They're especially goners as soon as they molt.

for a large reef, probably a naso tang or puffer.. anything with a funny face.

For a nano like mine.. clowns, my flame angel, mandarins, and watchmen goby.

Although not recommended, my favourite fish in my reef tank is my porcupine puffer. Loads of character. And I still have crabs and snails!!!!

my Starry Blenny... I think he's my favorite in the tank... His Octopus/Squid Color changing abilities are amazing...

Plus his face is hilarious...

It's like there's a Hidden Muppet somewhere in my tank!
