I've been meaning to ask this for a while now. What is your favorite song?

Mine is a jazz standard: Lullby of Birdland :dance

This is so hard. Mine changes with my mood, genre, etc. ad naseum. Yesterday by the Beatles is one I always enjoy. 7 by Prince and the New Power Generation blows me away with regularity because of the depth of the religion in a pop piece to say nothing of its musical layering and ethnic feel. Man, there're too many good songs out there to choose. you might as well ask me what my favorite internal organ is; without any I am dead, so i couldn't choose. Er, yeah, music means a lot to me.

as a music student i can understand your love for music. i have many fav songs too and artists but Lullaby of Birdland always does it for me

As a HUGE Metallica fan, I'll have to say Blackened by Metallica. Or as a non-metallica fav: Trust by Megadeth.

I've always liked "Luck be a Lady" from the musical Guys & Dolls...
Undone (The Guess Who) (edit... I think it's spelled Undun)

I don't know if I'd call them favourites exactly but those 2 always turn my crank.

I can't remember at the moment, but someone by the name of Jimmy Buffet did a song once......... .....

I , I think it was........ aaaah, nevermind....

......... :soda:

:D

That's really tough...but if I have to pick one it would probably be Opeth's "To Bid You Farewell."

Well, I don't know if you'd call it a song, more like a piece of music... but for me it's Rachmaninov's Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini. I could listen to it all day every day...

Featured in Somewhere in Time, the ultimate love story. Christopher Reeve, Jane Seymour... I could start bawling right now!! :sad
