I don't do schooling fish anymore, but back in the day I had a school of 12 bloodfin tetras in a 55 gallon. I know they aren't very popular but they were always one of my favorite community fish.

off topic, but jodimartin2003 what kind of loach is that? I have one just like it that came in a tank I just got.

It is a weather loach. They are just great. I would recommend them if you like something with lots of personality. Lots of people have said that theirs would come up to their hands when they put them in the tank. Mine never did this though.
