What's your longest lived fish?

I had a powder blue jack dempsey, he lived a few years I think... around 5ish. Eventually got lethargic and died the next day, I still have no idea what went wrong. :(

my id shark is about 5 yrs now, he started in a 10g and a round trip 10hr move.

after 10hrs on the trucks floor board in half a 10g full of water with no aireation he was floating upside down when i arrived. i was bummed, but plugged everything in cause the lima shovelnose was still alive and the next morning he was fully alive.

Sailfin pleco, about 4 years and counting.

I had a common pleco that Lived for 5 years. He out lived his tank (it cracked) and we had to move this huge pleco into a 5g tank. He barely fit in that tank and my parents said we had to get rid of him. No petstore would take him, so we ended up releasing him in a local lake.

Don't yell at me, I was 10 and my parents made me!

I just set up my tank a year ago. I only have one of the original fish. None died, just had to do a lot of switching around and restocking. I have now had my little P. Acei for a year. He use to be the smallest fish in the tank and everyone picked on him. Now he's one of the largest and he rules the other aceis! His name is Goat :).

wow I have a lot of longest fish kept..
in 2004-2007 I had a 28'' silver arowana which I got at 3''
in 2005-2006 I had a 12'' Widebar Datnoid from which I got at 5''
In 2007-2008 I had a 13'' Giant Gourami from which got at quater size
In 2008-2009 I had a 14'' Bala shark in which I got at 4''
and now my longest fish kept would be my silverdollars at 6'', datnoids, niger cat, and irwini cat

I inherited a clown pleco. I've had him 2 1/2 years and he was in the tank for at least 2 to 2 1/2 years. So, I'd say he is about 5 years old.

I had a blue veil tail Betta that lived 5 years. Two in a vase and the last 3 in a 10 gal tank that he shared peacefully with a female Betta. He had quite the calm personality for a male Betta. No aggression at all towards other fish in his tank :)
