What's your Plecos favorite thing to eat?

Sometimes they have a preference for a certain brand

I bought a big basket of mixed yellow squash/zucchinis. I sliced them into ~ 1/4" thick discs and froze 'em.

I use one of those tacky 'clownfish' suction cup clips.

I just clip a slice in the tank every couple days and remove it the next day. plec and goldfish all eat it. Sometimes I add some lettuce or cabbage if I have extra. watermelon rind with just a hint of red left on it is a nice treat....we've seen the pleco dragging it all over the tank when it came loose from the clip.

pleco will eat the algae wafers too...but so will the Goldfish! I bought some "King British" brand pleco tablets while in the UK last week. They're heavier than the algae wafers and sink faster. Plec was slapping the GF with his tail to keep them away from his treat.:hitting:

I use a rubber band and tight to a piece of rock. It is simple.

My L066 LOVES krill, market shrimp, mussels, and bloodworms.

My L200 eats all of the above as well as algae wafers and zucchini and squash.

Mine loves organic squash from the garden, peeled grapes, melon of all kinds, kiwi, and mango. Mango is his fav but it messes up my water quality really bad, really fast so he only gets it once in a while right before a water change. He also likes salmon and shrimp, asparagus, broccoli.

OK now I'm hungry 8)

Have you try water melon?

Yes, he loves that too, I had forgotten about watermelon. Thanks for reminding me, my pleco thanks you too as now I will go buy him one, lol.
