I would like to keep 1 male for the other female in my tank, she is lonely, and the rest I would love to trade for credit to my lfs, but I need to break the ice with the manager...and suggestions? And how much should i ask that is a reasonable offer? What are some key points that would make him interested in my convicts? (please exclude prolific) Thanks for all your help. I hope to trade in the liter for a good test kit.:silly:

I do remeber some having trouble getting rid of the fry though, warning you ahead of time. People sometimes can't give them away. Goodluck

Yeah, cons are such prolific breeders, I have honestly never heard of a LFS paying a customer for them...in fact as nguyendetecting said, most people I know have not been able to give them away to LFS.

I seen small convicts for sale at 50p each... presumably for feeders at that price.

yeah, i thought to same thing you did, but i cant get rid of mine either. the LFS told me they wouldnt give me money for them but im gonna see if they'll trade me a small pleco for 30-50 babies.

Well, see there not that common down here in the south theres only one store that sells em petsmart, the one I want to sell them to has never heard of them, so htats why I was looking for selling points....
