I have no idea when my molly will drop. If someone could send me a picture of a molly a couple days before delivery that would be great! She still is eating, pretty well, but she hides a lot more, and sits by the heater a lot! she isn't that big. It was about two weeks ago when I thought she looked pregnant, but i see no gravid spot. i have no idea when her last fry drop was so any info is nice. THANKS

Each fish is different. You cant always go by what they look like. Theres really no sure fire way to tell when they are going to give birth. When mine start to look squrish on there bellies, thats when i transfre them to the breeding tank. If you think she is close, then put her in seperate quarters, or a breeding trap. I breed mollies and still cant really tell when they are about to give birth, I just look for that squarish look.
depending on the type it can take 30 days all the way to 80 days There is a book at the library with a chart but all I can remember from it is that the 80 day hach type is the sailfins
