Since it is the summer holidays in my country, I went on a trip with my family to the pacific islands. I had people who were going to feed my fish and do everything for them while I was gone. When I got back 3 fish were missing.
My male Kribensis, my Silvertip and my Chinese Hillstream loach. I noticed my Kribensis had problems breathing a bit before I left...so I got some parasite cure for him. He wasn't eating and I think it was because of an gill parasite. So I reckon he died and the other fish ate him. This is a bit reasonable. My Silvertip wasn't to good either. He was getting bullied a lot which I think is the reason he died. (And he was looking quite weak) But then that means the other fish ate him up as well...And for my CHL I don't have a clue where or what happened to it. My water is all good...except the phosphate level is quite high. I was gone for 10 days...but I don't think my fish in the tank can finish 3 fish in 10 days while they get extra food as well....can they?? PLus there is not even a bit of fish bone or anything in the tank. My fish in the tank were: 1 female Kribensis, 2 Upside down catfish, 2 Platies, and 1 Bristle nose. Not many fish right...and I'm not sure if this small number of fish can eat up 3 fish...
Anyone know what's happened??? I don't have a clue!
P.S: I have a secure lid so no fish can jump out.
