Home depo and lowes hardware often put them in near the aquatic and bog plants. Never realized they were hard to find. What area of the world are you in? Some of our local garden shops stock huge pitcher plants.
I've purchased from Cook's Carnivorous Plants before, www.flytraps.com . Can't remember the prices, but they had a great selection, and the plants sent were healthy.
malefic i'm kind of in the northwest of the US and i've checked my local nurseries and such, the closest they have to it are dying venus fly traps, thats about it.
yay, my truncata came in the mail yesterday! it looks in good condition and i'm gonna transplant it to a bigger pot sometime later today when i buy more soil.
i'll post a few pics of it as soon as i fix my camera...
this might be a question for more experienced growers but when the pitcher on the end of a leaf dies, does a new pitcher form on the same leaf or do i have to wait for another leaf to sprout to expect another pitcher?
