I'm looking for 1.25 oz accurate dropper bottles or something similiar to these to dose liquid ferts from (20 drops = 1 ml):

I have old AP test kit bottles like that, but obviously I won't be using those in my tank due to the chemicals they once contained! I want something I can refill, so that I can put an end to syringe measurements from the big bottle and just count drops instead. Any ideas?

Edited to say I'd prefer if they weren't clear in color, as I believe the ferts say to not expose them to light.

Also try a drs office or veterinarian. I use a syringe with no needle on it. It has the same graduated markings, and it is easy for me to control.

Yeah, that's what I've been doing - the dropper bottles seem more convenient though since they'll each hold a smaller supply (maybe monthly) of the ferts and then I can measure counting drops rather than opening the main bottles every day and exposing them to air (I dose ferts daily). A clear syringe is not suitable for storing the ferts, whereas a capped dropper bottle would be.

I did check with my vet (used to work for them), and all they carry are amber glass bottles and regular eyedropper type clear bottles. No bottle with a dropper tip. The only place I could find online, I'd have to order 1000 of them and they are smaller than I'd like, LOL.

Maybe ask at a pharmacy?
Don't know if they'd have empty dropper bottles or could perhaps order some, but I got some nice empty amber measurement bottles (very cheap) from my pharmacy for mixing small amounts of fertilizer (still opening them and using the dropper, though).

That is an outstanding idea. I've got to start keeping these things.

Webc, would you be able to find them on ebay? I got a ton of disposable plastic pipettes from a perfume supply place on ebay. I'd bet that industry would also have the need for dropper bottles that dispense a tiny volume at a time.

I just did a search on ebay. Most of the dropper bottles they have are glass or clear plastic. There are a couple that are opaque white plastic, but it seems they come in huge quantities (like hundreds at a time).

I'm keeping my eye on ebay, no luck yet! Something in the 30ml size would do it, and I've seen clear bottles that size.

Yeah, the ones in the link above were 3mL so pretty dang small. Good luck!
