Live in the middle of nowhere. So beer supply or paintball supply shops are out of the question, unless I want to drive over an hour. Where else is there? I do live near a Wal Mart(of course) and run of the mill sporting goods store. Would they fill it? Thanks.

I get mine filled at a local compressed gas and welding company. Check out your phone book and call ahead to make sure they have the correct fittings to fill up your tank. I have a 5lbs tank and I can't get it filled up at paintball supply shops because it requires a different fitting.

If you have a walmart nearby, I know they have a 20oz. CO2 exchange system. I'm assuming your 24oz cylinder is meant for paintball, correct?

Or you could go on ebay and purchase a large 10 or 20lb CO2 cylinder and a fill for that would last a long enough time to justify an hour drive.

then he would have to get a whole new regulator..

I would save myself a trip and call everybody in the area who would possibly fill it and see if anybody would.

and ask them for pricing.. many will not fill paintball tanks unless they charge for what is lost in purging.

I am looking into a paintball fill station myself..as some of my tanks do not have room for a large bottle...

Yeah, but would solve his fill problems. Cause if no one fills paintball cylinders near him, an hour drive for 2lbs of CO2 is gonna be a pain.
