I would suggest that you think again about doing some sort of quarantine. If you put these fish directly into your display tank you will have no way to treat any diseases that result. Medications will destroy all the life on your rock and in your sand, so you will have to remove them to treat for anything anyway. Much more prudent to quarantine in the first place.I don't want to start just dumping fish into the aquarium, but I did want to add one or two clowns this weekend, and then another 2 or 3 fish or invertebrates (depending on size) as time passes (a month or two).

Two weeks is but the blink of an eye in terms of marine tanks- my first fish went in at around the four month mark- same as becky e. There is a lot that is going on in there besides cycling even. You are also waiting for various populations of bugs and critters to develop then wax and wane. Waiting is almost always better than not waiting.
And did I mention that quarantine is vital?
