where do you get your tanks from?

I was wondering about how many people buy new aquariums over used ones? The three tanks I have, I bought used-I just can't spend the money needed for new tanks. I'm constantly on craigslist trying to "score" a good deal or freebie...

I have 4 tanks............3 were new and 1 was used.

I bought about 8 of my tanks new (mainly small ones because they are inexpensive). All my tanks except 1 that are over 30g I bought used from craigslist.

i get my tanks free from an office building. did i mention i make tanks out of 5 gallon water jugs?

otherwise only 2 out of 7 have never been used for fish, or drinking water

Well that is one messed up poll. It sure leaves alternatives out of the question. There are many ways to get tanks and the poll doesn't allow for such a large variable.

I certainly would not be able to give an answer to reflect where/how I get my tanks that would be accurate.

Mostly freecycle but i have had a few new ones and paid for used ones.
