Where I spend my time

TY both. Fishrod - I do breed and sell. I have angelfish, albino bristlenose plecos, full black moscow guppies, german blue rams. My future projects are electric blue rams, albino red guppies, hybrid albino red and albino bluegrass guppies and betta albimarginata. I sell to mostly local stores, some walk in customers and I also ship.

Thanks again,

You must be a hard worker! Those are very well maintained tanks! Great job and don't give up!

Beautiful set up and surely happy fish.

Awesome!!! An enviable setup to say the least.

Great set up!

Andy,

If the pictures are on your computer, when you post on CVRC right under the subject of your thread there is a place to upload an attachment. Or if you want I can host your pics on my photobucket and put a thread up for you.

your choice.

TY all for the kind words.

Josh - I didn't realize it was that easy, I thought you had to go to photobucket to download pics. I'll do it later.

Thanks,

Jake - thanks for that. It does take a lot of time to maintain these (several hours a day) and at times I would love to just not do fish stuff. Vacations are tough but manageable. But something pulls me back. My goal has always been to provide healthy, beautiful fish at an affordable price. But it does come at a price (time and effort). I am fortunate that this is still a hobby (jobby really) and money is a secondary thing to me. I know that times are tight for everyone right now - I try my best to keep things affordable even with shipping.

Thanks again for the encouragement,

I've seen some of the angel's you've sent out and they are beautiful. I was wondering if you would mind giving me some advice. I'm in the prcocess of movig fish around to different tanks and I have a 130 gal. 48x25x25 and I love them but they move pretty fast so you don't always get to appreciate them. I wanted to add a couple center piece fish and thought they might be a good choice. I should also mention I have 4 clown loaches and1 gold algee eater which I'm not sure I will have much longer. He behaves himself now but I'm worried about everything I've read. Just wonering if these tank mate would be compatibl?
Thaks

Mou - TY

ddl - With a tank that size discus would be awesome if you are willing to do the maintenance they require (water changes at least 2 times a week w/adults, more often for juvies, temp at 84 - 86 degrees, quality food) and they can be pricey. I used to raise them and they are beautiful - kinda like a high maintenance girlfriend - great to look at but at a price ;). Another option would be some veil angels (I gave up discus for angels - not as demanding and easier to breed and care for). In a tank that size, w/drift wood and tall flowing plants angels would look awesome. Some of my veil/super veil are 10 inches from the top fin's tip to the bottom fin's tip. The one thing about angels most people don't realize is that they can become aggressive especially during a spawn (toward each other). The best thing about your set up is the size of the tank - you could put several angels in there and they would have plenty of room to set up a breeding area and the others could stay out of the way. You can minimize the aggression by pulling the spawn out of the tank. I would recommend at least 6 angels (you could have more - just depend on the other tank mates) - the more you have the more any aggression can be spread out. That tank has tons of potential - have fun.

BTW - where have you seen my angels? Just curious.
