In my experience guppys take about 10 hours to rot.

My friends missed their male black guppy one day. Two days later, they noticed a skeleton in a corner. There were only guppies and ramshorn snails in that tank.

small fish rot quickly, especially in heated water. Once dead they tend to float and then top feeders like danios will eat them. Also they weigh hardly nothing and are easily sucked into the filter after dying. Also if they do jump out of the tank they can flop around and sometimes die feet away from the tank... could be under your couch
