where to find dwarf livebearers?

wow! the males only reach 1/4 inch??? that's amazing. livebearers aren't really my thing, so i admit i don't that much about them. the Vector Control thing was just a thought :o

Trickster & Phoenix, the Sachs link states the fish grow to 1.5 inches. Is this correct?

Ms. Bubbles, I have never seen any mine reach that big and I have been keeping the steadly for almost 4 years. The females are typically an inch and males reach about 1/4 of an inch (the size of guppy fry). these may be some wild females that have reached that big but I think this is the extreme.

When I say these guys are tiny, I really mean it. I had 30 in my 5 gallon plant tank, and if you stood 10 feet away, you couldnt see any fish in the tank. You had to get up to the tank and it was still hard to find them. They are just really tiny. They are a great fish but you really can't keep them with anything else. They do well at room temp, summer - winter. I would not be worry about a heater or anything like that. Just keep them in a cool place in the house and you will do fine.

well, maybe I won't get them, because they would share the tank with 2 African dwarf frogs. I wouldn't want them to get nibbled :(
