Where to get a drop checker and solution

CO2 Indicator (Red Sea)

CO2 Indicator (Red Sea)

The bottle of drops that came with it doesn't say anything about 4dkh?

Anyone know if this is what comes with it?

And if not, where to get it.

Uhhhh ooops!
I don't know how I managed to pull that off?
I thought I was making a new thread??? lol

Sorry about the highjack! :(

The bottle that comes with the checker is the indicator solution. Normally people use the water from their tank but this can have other substances in it that can affect the pH. What I do is use the 4dkH solution and then put 2 to three drops of the indicator solution in this.

I have a few of the Red Sea Drop Checkers, aka CO2 Indicators for sale. They're pretty hard to find, at a decent price. The liquid that comes with the Drop Checker is a PH reagent, you still need the solution(4dkh).

I have made a solution of my own, that I could include with the purchase, it's pretty close to 4dkh. I'll post a for-sale thread in the classifieds if anyone is interested.
