Amazon! Their test kits are usually close to 50% off the big pet stores, and a lot of them ship for free!
yup i got mine on amazon for $17 from oobz i think that the name the shipping is cheap to go take a look maybe u will find a better deal it cheaper than the local store one

I know you impressed me with "being broke" (been there, done that, wasn't fun!) However, I would save for the future and get one of these:

NOT that particular model, necessarily. Just plugin PH and meter and do an ebay search, you will find many models. Some I have seen go under $20.00 USD and that included shipping--I know, because I have one!
At least I am no longer buying PH test kits and hearing arguments over which is accurate enough and which are not (religious wars over PH tests, really!)
