Im looking for a very fine gravel. I mean the kind that could almost be large coarse sand. I had bought some when I was in Chicago made by red flint gravel. There is no supplier of this in sunny SW florida. So does anyone know where I could possibly order or find some here.:help:

Awesome link thanx, didnt even think of ebay(for once). What do u think about its shape though, and I like the one in that second link also. What exactly is black beauty anyways. Sorry for the questions, but Im going to be redoing basically the top layer in a well establish planted/discus tank.

I read that if you have fish that dig like Corys and some Cichlids you want to avoid sand blasting and silica sand because it is too rough and will tear up the fish. I don't know if Discus ever get near the bottom, but I avoided rough substrates just to keep my options open.

I actually have about a dozen corys, and 5 different loaches. THats what I was concerned about, it says angular shape which to me means pointed or sharp. I love the color and size though, but well see.
