I'm looking for some certain fish that arn't avaliable in this area. I would like to know a list of sites that sell fish online and are reliable in live fish on arival. I know it'll cost but i'm willing to pay in order to find these fish. Generally what i'm asking for is addresses to sites that sell fish. Any suggestions, comments, and hints on finding or getting the best deals will be welcome.
Mainly i'm looking for goldfish, koi, bettas, dojo loaches, all sorts of cichlids, native fish to america, red tailed catfish, black sharks, plants,.........those kinds of sites.

Thanks alot for any suggestions.

There are some rare, hard to find species that can only be found online and/or through breeders. Namely Discus, apistos and other dwarf cichlids, fancy plecos, as well as fancy goldfish and koi, to name just a few. The quality of the fish from these "breeders" is superior to anything you may find at your lfs.

childawg going up the list i made some observations..

shark aquarium was interesting. they sell arapiaima gigas.. i thought those were way endangered.. not legal for import to texas anyway..

aquarium stuffers is informative. they have pics of fish but they arent the mind blowing pics of fish during spawn or showing aggression. just plain not very colorful fish pics. i actually appreciate this as its not fair to post a pic of a cichlid best of show winner, and deliver a washed out little fry. they do mention a minimum tank for a 10" fish is 30 gallon. low for a/c standards.

tangledup always has the knock out pics. but ive heard he also has the quality fish.

aquascape seems to have become some other kind of website.

They are not illegal as they are CITES II. I was corrected on that by people at Predatory Fish. However, they are illegal in many states...yours apparently included. Didja see the picture of George Fear with that giant Arapaima?

Ahh, Pedro's website is actually www.aquascapeonline.com My bad.

I could not find any decent Discus at the LFS's. So, I found them online, at a Discus only website. Do research before buying online. There are some bad sites out there..
