Where's the "freshwater slacker" forum?

That's a mean looking fish! I wish I had the space for a big tank, I'd love to have cichlids. Oh well.....maybe some day.
"He" is a sweetheart. My loaches are more mean than he is. I've always had nice happy severums.

Never have. I know it's best but not much I can do!

I hope you continue to have success. So far, nothing I've quarantined has had anything, and the only thing I didn't quarantine but should have was some plants I got from PetSmart or PetCo, not sure which, that gave me a nifty little hydra infestation. I've also moved a new angel and 11 rummynose to my main tank after a week in QT because the angel just didn't seem to be doing well, and since they were all in there together anyway, anything the rummies had, the angel did, so there was no point in leaving them in QT. This past weekend, I got a pair of EBR, and didn't bother putting them in QT, either, because they shared a tank with the rummies at the LFS, so, again, there was just no point. I've been fortunate, then again I've bought most of mine from a place that has its own QT process before putting fish on display. I hope you remain successful.

Thanks. Good success story haha. Yeah I don't really have anywhere to keep a QT. Plus I've never had a huge grasp on them. Do they have a filter on them and like one random fish to keep the BB alive? Or do people keep a small filter on their main tank that they just move to QT when they need it? Guess just wondering if a QT is always running or not.
