Which brand flake food do you feed?

I frequently see people saying that Ken's fish is cheaper.

Is it really cheaper even after shipping (compared to local)- do you have to buy it in bulk- or can you buy smaller quantities.

I know fish food lasts a while- but if you freeze the excess does it last even longer?

If Ken's is healthy AND cheaper I may need to go with that.

I have Tetra flakes and Hikari sinking pellets. I also have Sera fry food and flakes, my LFS highly recommends this brand, the owner said he considers it on par with Hikari. *shrug* My fish love it, and it's keeping my fry alive so I'm happy. :D

A few varieties of Ken's flakes because they were inexpensive and came highly recommended. I've since noticed a few quality issues with the super tropical flakes, so I'll probably switch to another brand when these run out...

Sorry... another question.

Are shrimp OK feasting off catfish pellets, snello, a zucchini slice now and then and the odd flake that makes it to the bottom or do they need shrimp food to thrive.

Variety is the spice of life! My fish devour it all... some of the Kensfish flakes were leftovers from small sample packages I received, I gave some of each out to a couple people around town- I'd long been telling them about Kensfish and all the good things I've heard- and I've got a couple weeks left of each for myself.
I've actually got each container labeled so my daughter can help figure out what food the fish get while learning to read and learning the days of the week- feeding the fish is a great job for a 4-year old.

It's occasionally a bit of a challenge getting food down to my GBR because the harlequin rasbora are quick to swallow everything they can get to... they're like frenzied little sharks, especially when I feed them the NLS sinking pellets.
