Which brand flakes do you use?

I don't feed flakes--I prefer the pellets. Most tanks get one of the Bio-Blend varieties in addition to blood worms, veggies, etc.

How do you like the Bio-Blend foods? I've been reading up on them because they intrigue me, but it seems that no one here uses it.

I really like the Bio-Blend foods. I feed the omnivore and herbivore formulas to my tanks. The gouramies really like the herbivore version, the cories, paradise fish, tetras, betta, kuhlis and UDC prefer the omnivore formula. It's easy to feed, it doesn't immediately sink to the bottom, but doesn't stay at the surface or get sucked quickly into the filter. It is too small for many of my other fish--the smaller bristlenose will go after it, but I haven't seen my chocolate or large bristlenose even notice it.

My fish have better color since I started using it. My only complaint is that my dogs ate an entire bottle--costly snack!

This thread got expanded into all types of foods... :D

Ok, I also feed Hikari daphnia, Hikari brine shrimps, Wardley Spitulina wafer, Wardley Shrimp pallettes, Tetra blood worms, and New Spectrum small fish pallettes.

In addition, hatched brine shrimps and frozen blood worms.

Just about all of the above are very well consumed by all species except for the Nutrafin flakes which absolutely s*cks.
