which catfish you have and why

I have a brown bullhead. it is actually a quite lively fish for a nocturnal species. it loves to play around with anything that will fit into it's mouth, like bubbler hoses and what i did have for plant bulbs. it is 11 inches long, and it couldn't be easier to care for. i feed it chicken liver, minnows, nightcrawlers, and pellets. i was definitly surprised how good of a fish it turned out to be, didn't expect it when i got it 4 years ago when it was the size of my thumbnail.

3 Otos: wanted something small, active, and different for my 10 gallon.

2 Featherfin Syno's: because they are good looking, tough enough for a cichlid tank, and clean up any leftover food.

1 Clown pleco: because I love the pleco look, and don't have room for the big boys.

1 common Pleco- because I got him 3 years ago for an algae eater for a 2 gal. He is now in a 30 waiting for the 120 to finish cycling and is 8" long.

5 otos -there small and good at eating brown algea

6 glasscats- They are just so cool!

pictus banjo and cory

I have on whiptail banjo, one greem armored cory, and one pictus in my 30 gal with my three comets. I have them because they are interesting and friendly and they like to be held.

I have:
1 Bristlenose plec
6 Albino cories
3 Panda cories (getting more soon)
5 False julii cories (C. trilineatus)
7 Corydoras sodalis
2 C. schwartzi
8 Otocinclus
4 Yoyo loaches (not exactly catfish, but a bottom feeder ;))

I think that covers them all.

The reason why...Cories because they are cute and you can never have enough, BN because I wanted a pleco that wouldn't outgrow a 55g and wouldn't tear up/into my plants, the Otos because they are fabulous at eating diatom and green algae and not to mention cute, and the loaches because they are so fun to watch. :D
