Which Co2 DIY system,

Out of these two, which one looks better to you? I know they are just fancy DIY systems, but i would just like to know which one seems better to you guys...

I just threw a Red Sea in the trash the other day.

Bought it a long time ago. It sat around for about a year. Fired it up. Didn't notice much for any bubbles. Re-done the mixture again. Again nothing. Made a 2L bottle. With in 12 hrs, alot of bubbles.

I saw someone selling the Hagen type in our classifieds the other day, for $20.

Stick that down by the substrate, below one of your AC's and your all set.

Go the complete DIY route. I've used the Hagen system and it is nothing special except is has the bubble ladder. There are better ways to diffuse anyways...

If i get that glass diffuser, do i just attatch the end of it to my air tubing connecting to the 2l bottle? And whats a gas seperator?

Yes

And whats a gas seperator?

Can be a 12oz soda bottle after the 2L.

It will trap any moisture(yeast) that might come from the 2L.

Also, get a check valve to use in line. Between the seperator and aquarium.
