Which External filter

I have 2 fluval 404s. They work well, but aren't as quiet as I'd like.

HOB= hang on back of tank type filters. I use wet dry's and fluval 404's & 405's only difference is 405 is the newest version of the 404. I dont have any leaks or noise problems from them and would buy them again when i need more canisters. I also have several Cascade 1500 canisters and they work great and are very quiet.
