which filter setup would you get?

for a 75 gallon, I don't think it would be so great. Those are good as a duo for a 55 gallon, but 75 with messy fish, I just don't think so.

Normally I would say wet/dry, bu they don't play very well with plants.

I have had a heavily stocked, heavily planted 75 gal running for about 4 years now. It has an Eheim Pro II 2026, An AquaClear 300gph and a Hot Magnum loaded w/ the micron cart. The water is always clear and vacs suck up minimal gunk.

The 2028 is larger than the 2036 and the AC 110 is 500gph. One note, with the AC I got I had to cut a notch out of the inside tank rim to make it fit

I have dual 2028's on my 55. I've tried HOB's, I've tried a Fluval, nothing compairs to the Eheim's.

I have 2 Rena XP3's and a Marinland Empoeror 400 on my 100 GAL. The Rena's rock for the money.
