which fish for 4ft tank?

80gJoe after looking at the pics of your Discus I quickly checked out your profile and I have to agree with O-man21 - you have an amazing looking tank :) . I think I can actually see your Discus smiling.

shame on u

how can u live wiyth your self knowing u got ride a an oscar shame shame shame oscars are good with all cichlid as long as they dont fit in there mouths

i would go for an african cichlid community tank probably from lake malawi only because i have these fish my self and i think there great to look at and come in alsorts of beutiful colours, but be careful as there is some really aggressive types which might affect your community tank, hope everything goes well.

Thanks everyone, a few ideas for me to think about . Would still love the Discus ,not sure the wife would let me get 25 of them though. As for mixed cichlids ,yeah that could be cool medium size 5-6" . 80gJoe I want to live in Orlando, you lucky man , did Disney World for my honeymoon, superb place, will return one day !!!!
thanks again guys Het.

p.s Bantam well done for leaving Bradford!

Thanks a bunch for the compliments!

Hetfield, I missed on how many gallons the tank will hold.

You have quite a variety of fish to choose from! Have fun!! :)

I beleive that most 4 feet tanks are 55 gallons. Unless you're gonna get it custom made or something. It really depends if you want a single specimen like your oscar or a community. Single specimens could include green terrors, jack dempseys, texas cichlids, and possibly a red devil. Red Devils are kinda like oscars because they get a minimum of 12" but can get much larger. Community cichlids could include convicts, firemouths, kribs, geo-cichlids, or dwarf cichlids. I dunno a lot about these fish because I keep mostly large cichlids.

blue acaras/firemouths looks good thats what my brother has but he has a few convicts in there too. but blue acaras/firemouths is a great comco, IMO.
