Which fish will get along in my tank?

Ok, none of us here can give you a detailed list of what you can put in your tank. It will take a long time as there are a lot of fish that will work. If you are just starting out, use the list above and google to pick out some fish you like. Then post all of their names here and we can give you the numbers and more detailes.

no offense or anything but a 10g tank is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay to small for a goldfish unless u just wanted to torture it its o.k and also thay are not even close to compatible with guppies like i said no offense

Ok guys, I did what you said and I looked though the fish and here they are:
Will these work in my tank:
Bala Shark and some Mollies or Swords?

Let me know

Thanks

You'll get different feedback on the swords and mollies, but balas are a definate no  !! They can get up to a foot long. Plus they are schooling fish, so you're talking more than one big fish!! When I had my 3 balas in a 55g tank (now in a 180g tank) they were incredibly nervous fish (which is the norm for them) and they would hit the tank walls and jump into the lid when I got close to the tank, or made any movement faster than a snail:eek: It sounded awful...

what fish SHOULD I put in the tank

Nothing. Not until you figure out what you're going to do with your goldfish. Nobody is going to suggest adding more fish to an overstocked tank.

Since you've ignored their attempts to explain why you can't add anymore fish, I'm not sure what you can expect from them/us.

k lets say your goldfish is gone to make you happy heres some fish you could put in

tetras
guppies
mollies
platies
killiefish
shelldwellers
bettas
rams
dwarf puffers
bumbble bee gobies
dwarf gouramis
khuli loaches
white clouds
danios
tiger barbs
cherry barbs
dwarf cichlids
hatchet fish
ottos
cories
AND thats about it
I think that is a pretty good list for ideas]
hope I helped

Get and oscar, a common pleco and a pacu. That should round out your tank nicely. NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have you read anything you have been told on any of the postings?????? :mad2:

Frankly I am starting to believe that you post here just to drive people nuts. If you are, go someplace else, because you have driven me nuts and have accomplished your task. If you are not, read what people answer and do a little research. :read: I spent a month researching on the net before I bought my first fish and there is a wealth of information available to you.

I think many people have tried to help you and you are not reading anything they have written. Your tank is full as it is. You cannot add more fish without buying something larger.

There, I am finished.
