Which home is best for a Clown Pleco

I have 2 tank options for my clown pleco. So lets put it to a vote.
Would he be happier in...

1: 30 gallon rock-scaped tank with sand substrate
2: 10 gallon planted tank with those tiny small pebbles?

Whichever tank you choose, add some driftwood if there isn't already some in there.

Well, he's already in the 30 gallon- I just thought he may be happier in the 10 as it is planted. The 30 has Victorians, the 10 has guppies. But he sure does like burrowing under the rocks in the sand! I think I'll leave him. He has a piece of wood and gets cucumber, spinach and broccoli stem once in a while.
