Which is better??

Just got my Satellite 130W fixture that came with the mounnting legs. I can either use the legs or the rubber feet to mount the fixture, obviously, the legs will elevate it higher than the rubber feet. I can go with either option but is one better than the other as far as plant growth goes?

the closer to the water the more light will get into the tank. i think in your case the distance is minimal and what ever you prefer should be fine.
