so i am getting a 40 gallon hexagon tank today and i was looking at lighting for it. and i have a couple of questions on a couple of lightings. 24" 250 watt sunpod pro hqi metal halides. but these light doesn't have actinics it just has the regular daylight lights and led lights. do i need to buy the actinics seperate? or will i be fine because i have the led lights? can i use my led lights as my actinics? and the same thing goes for the k-2 viper deluxe 250 watt clamp on light. it looks like this one don't have actinics either but it does have the led lights. do i even need actinics on my lighting system for a reef tank? i was also looking at the aqualight pro hqi/compact flourescent/lunar light fixture. but my question is on this light fixture if i have to buy the suspension hardware for it or can i put mouting legs on these fixtures. because to me it sounds difficult doing the suspension hardware. im use to lights that you just put mounting legs on them. which light do you recommend for me?

Keep in mind that you don't actually need the actinics. They are present more for aesthetics than anything. This is all assuming that you actually like the color temperature of the included bulb in the Aquapod (a good choice for your setup, btw). If you like a bluer light, shoot for the higher kelvin lamps. Just be careful to note the actual intensity of the lamp, as in many, if not most circumstances, a bluer light ends up being dimmer than lower kelvin, yellower/whiter lamps.
