Which LPS can be fragged?

I just bought a VHO fixture, and my water quality is set, so in few days, I plan on buying my first coral. Before I do this, I am curious which LPS are easier to frag?

Many are easy. Branching hammers, branching frogspawn, bubbles. None are that difficult especially if you have someone to show you in person or even look at the fragging stickies in the propagation forum.

What about open brains? I read a few things about fragging them and it sounded really tricky, especialy the bubbles. How can you break the stone part in half? Wouldn' the fleshy part half to break as well. How could something survive that.

You can cut them on a table saw even. Some use dremels, tile saws, bone cutters, etc.

So you can just saw strait though a polyp without killing it? That almost seems nuts.

Aaah, I see. That video about the guy who fragged the galavia with a screwdriver, does that work on other corals?
