IMO, the Nutrifin system is not a good idea for a 55 gal. tank. I would not invest in one for that size tank.
If you come up with a way to keep algae off of Anubia please post it. It's one of the challenges of plant-keeping. Other than constant rubbing or bleach dipping occasionally, I have no answer to that dilemma. Anubia leaves can last a year or more and are subject to algae buildup.
