which type of cichlids are most agressive?

Pound for pound, convict and CA's in general. But he did say SA vs African so I'd pick African. Red terrors have some aggression problems as do GT's, but I've seen some Africans that are just plain nuts. Aceii's come to mind, my obliquidens must be kept with my larger cichlids due to the fact that he kept beating SA cichlids his own size from the day he was first placed into the tank.
 
If kept alone for a while (so that they get to like being alone/territorial), JDs are quite capable of taking out Oscars that are 1.5x their own size. There is a pretty good reason they're named for a heavyweight prize fighter of considerable repute.
 
Kenyii can be just plain mean, I've probably had more fish taken down randomly by them than any other african cichlid. Their territoriality can manifest out of nowhere, even if they've been living peacefully with a fish for years.
 
well i've decided to just stick with african cichlids because to me they look nicer and more attractive.
 
Now to narrow it down to one lake...
 
malawii......i think. i have socolofi, yellow labs, and i will be getting an ahli.
 
I'd skip the Ahli.......they are pretty aggressive....way more aggressive than Yellow Labs IMO.
 
well i was told to get 8 labs, 5-8 socolofi, and 1 ahli, but isn't that too crouded for a 75 gallon?
