Well a few days ago i finally got water and salt into my new (29gal) tank. I let it mix with all 3 powerheads and the empty hob for 3 days. On the second day i added 3 small cocktale shrimp. By the smell i can definatly tell there's amonia. Anyways i can't see an inch into my tank. which with southdown i know is normal and im not worried about it. (it wouldnt have been so bad but i mixed the sand all up to make sure all the big air pockets got wet, because the sand on the bottom was dry when i added all the water). Anyways im not worried about the cloudyness, but i do have an inch of film on the surface of the water ever since i added water. Im sure its very small particles of SD but i was wondering if i should hand skim the stuff off since it isnt breaking up any. Any help/ comments appriciated
