Whirlling Disease?

Whirling Disease?

This morning I noticed my male molly keep turning on the surface of water and is this have something to do with whirlling disease? I've been searching in web but can't find what's the main cause of this phenomenon and how can I cure my molly... can someone please help me... thanks! :sad:

As far as I am aware, whirling disease is always fatal. I would make sure that it truly is whirling disease before taking any action. But, if it is, I think it would be best to humanely put the fish down, (a few drop of clove oil in a cup of water is the best method, but freezing the fish is also another good method).
 
Unlikely to be whirling disease unless you've been adding lots of plants, substrate and other matter from an infected stream or pond, and even then, the whirling behavior is only observed in young fry that are infected--the whirling is the result of damage to developing cartilege in fry, and does not occur in adult or sub-adult fish.

What's the hardness of your water?
