White and green acorus I think this is the name of the plant, I tried to goggle the name but never found a right direct link. Is this plant aquatic, or not? The plants leaves are starting to I guess the word is decay, turn white and stringy?

I believe that was its name, I bought it from Petsmart that has usually only aquatic plants

The wide grass like leaves with white edges and green centre on the leaf are not aquatic and will decay, often sold as aquatics.

I got some in my tank too. Has been in there like 2 weeks, Isn't showing any signs of dying yet. When it starts I'll pitch it. That Mondo grass they sell at petsmart is also not aquatic, Just a heads up. My Acorus is tall enough to where it's sticking out of the top of the waterline, not sure if this is helping it or not.

Acorus aren't aquatic, but they can be planted emersed. I've used them in paludariums.
