If you have 2 males they are just flaring at one another.
They look prettiest (handsomest?) when doing this, I think, you can really see the red on their fins.

He did look pretty, I was just worried something was wrong. I only notice 1 doing it so maybe I have a male and a female.

it sounds like he's doing a dance to try to seduce the female. Mine did that all the time
