I know you need to have LR in the tank but boy can it be a source of problem with hitch hikers. Anyway i dont have a picture this site says size is to large. My "flower" is white almost clear and inside of it it has a purple ring and some very light br on it. I have a few and the look very small and delicate. They do retreat into there leathery chute from tim eto time. Any ideas i am pretty sure its not a christmas tree worm and i was hoping they are feather dusters.

Sounds like a feather duster of some sort. There are many varieties-the largest heads I've seen on these guys is about 1 inch diameter. Harmless filter feeders. though the little ones that build a stony tube can be a pain, covering the sides and power heads with their little 'dropping' homes.

Does it look like this?

It's about 1/2" across. Common live rock hitchhiker.

Forgot to mention that it is Fiji LR and wow did I find a great small lfs in Las Vegas with some great prices and a even better slaes staff

And how did you post that pic? I seem to get a error message every time saying file is to large.

I have seen that page and please feel free to repaet your self. A lot of us here love the advice and are trying to do it the right way so hearing something a few times doesnt hurt at all. Plus even though it was said in a different thread it is calming to hear it directed at your question. God knows that my tank and my knowledge is so much further ahead then i dreamed possible because of this site. My family thought I was crazy to start a marine tank but now they are jealous of it.
thanks Adam
