White Fuzz growing on Hood.

Just wondering what it could be? It looks exactly like cotton and is growing in patches under my 29g freashwater hood. I cleaned it off already. Is it just food particals that got stuck on my hood and got moldy?

yes I think that is what it is. I had the same thing on a 20 gallon. I just wiped it off every once in a while.

Yes, it's most likely bits of mouldy food.

My landlords had the same stuff on their tank.
