alright i poured some of the egg yolk water solution stuff in there with a medicine dropper. then i took some green water and poured/squeezed some out in various locations where i saw the fry gathered. i turned on my box filter just in case. dont' want the egg yolk stuff polluting the water. it's perfect because the stockings stopped the filter from being able to suck up the fry, they can even swim by it without being stuck to it. there are still a lot of fry with small remnants of their yolk sacs on the ground. they're just lying there. i saw one just randomly swim to the top. so hopefully by tomorrow morning, my tank should be brimming with small fry life! should i turn the lights off or leave them on?
i would tirn the lights off for the night, darkness makes them rest, then maby tomorrow they will all be swimming better.mine didnt all start swimming until they were about a week old.
oh ok thx! i'm gonna put some more green water in there tomorrow to try to make it have a light green tint to it. hopefully that should benefit them with enough food to eat. and whatever is about to waste the filter will take care of it/keep the water from becoming polluted.
the female got trapped behind the box filter over night and soffocated
i do see eggs around the tank in some places but im not sure if there is any in the nest,im hoping to get a few babies out of this, the actual spawn obviously wasnt bad because she had very few rips in her fins.she was a pretty girl.
